Brought to you by Beta USA. I have been in love with my Beta 300rr all year. It's lightweight, has great suspension, handles beautifully and has the 300 power we all love. Beta motorcycles are known for there rideability and reliability.
Recap
Round 5 of the EnduroCross series in Redmond, Oregon, was a lot of fun. The track was more spread out and had flow. My moto scores of 6-6-10 gave me an 8th place finish overall, costing valuable points in the championship. While I had all the pieces in place, a few in-race decisions ended up being costly. I feel like I missed a good opportunity for a podium.
No excuses – I'll be back stronger, pulling a tear-off and focusing on how to improve for the final round in Everett, WA.
Bike Setup for the Redmond Track
To take on Redmond’s larger floor plan, we swapped our standard 13-50 gearing to 13-48 Dirt Tricks Sprockets.
For this round, we kept the suspension the same as the last all the other rounds.
I like to set my bikes up so they work well, then stick to those settings throughout the year. The Beta 300rr, is practically made for EnduroCross.
The Team Behind the Racing
Behind every race weekend is a team working tirelessly to get everything prepped and ready. From packing up gear and bikes to making sure we’re equipped for any surprises, every weekend is a logistical effort. Rodney, my mechanic and coach keeps the Beta 300rr in prime condition, while the support team (Girlfriend Monica and videographer Olivia) handles the race-day schedules and keeps the energy up.
Logistics are part of the sport – from loading and unloading the rig to keeping track of every part and tool. These weekends wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of each team member, and the camaraderie makes the journey to each race all the more rewarding. Rodney has been super dedicated to prepping the bike during the week and sharing his knowledge on race days.
I've raced out of an old pickup and for factory teams, factory is definitely better, haha. Massive shoutout to Beta for the opportunity, I am grateful to be a part of an awesome team.
Looking Forward to Everett
With just one round left in the season, I’m laser-focused on finishing strong in Everett, WA. Redmond provided key insights and lessons I’ll carry forward, and I’m determined to put in a stronger performance. No excuses, just the determination to be better.
Thank you to everyone who’s been following along this season – we’re giving it everything we’ve got for the final push!
